Helping adults heal trauma at the root, integrate wounded parts, and move forward with confidence.

Rachel Bennett, LCSW—EMDR Therapist

Meet Rachel (she/her)

Hi, I'm Rachel! I’ve worked in the mental health field for more than 12 years with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. It’s been very meaningful to witness people find joy, rebuild confidence, and heal from painful experiences, which is why I continue to do this work.

Since becoming a parent while working as a therapist,  I have gained a deeper appreciation for the challenges of raising kids amid the many demands of daily life. It has also heightened my awareness of how our own childhood experiences continue to shape us, and how many of us are still working through difficult parts of our past.

I currently specialize in adults 18 and over who are navigating stressful life events, burnout, or patterns that leave them feeling stuck. Everyone deserves a nonjudgmental space to work through life’s challenges and I hope that you leave our sessions feeling empowered to make decisions about your life, your relationships, daily habits, and feelings of self-worth.

What it’s Like to Work With Me

I support my clients with compassion and curiosity, tailoring my therapeutic techniques to their specific needs. I try to create a low pressure environment and use humor as a supportive tool because I believe it can be healing during difficult times. I value open communication and welcome feedback to help guide your progress.

I pull from a range of evidence based modalities depending on the client's needs, however, I primarily utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Self-Compassion, and Parts work.

My goal is to help you experience deeper healing while also providing practical tools you can use in daily life.

My Specialties include:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety
